How did MikuMikuTogether come to be?
Around November 2024, the moderation team behind the anonymous Vocaloid imageboard & radio website 39chan was made aware of the existence of a forgotten MikuMikuDance-based chatroom client known as MikuMikuOnline. Following the imminent reboot of 39chan in December, the team decided to create an English speaking server for the game due to the lack of available servers, especially in the west. Later the same month, MikuMikuTogether would be launched to the public.
